Okay, so if you had to choose like, which character you most identify with, who would you say you most identify wash? I don't know who identify with but I like God, all the characters are so good. What if I told you that this little show has accurately predicted the future crazy. I know, and I'm not talking about some low-hanging fruit, like, oh, it's gonna fucking rain and a brawler, like, you know, people are going to eat more popsicles during the summertime.

There's no way Trump is going to be like, like no one in their right mind, he sells stakes and he's like, he's like a fucking reality, show star like nobody actually thinks. And what did I do? I ate my mother fucking worse. Okay, let's get into the basics as far as like The Simpsons going to on those actually the brain. Child of Matt Groening with and it aired on The Tracey Ullman Show.

That's the year I graduated high school so it started airing and it started gaining a lot of popularity so much so that it Fox decided to actually have it have its own show.

6:10 I'm a huge Simpsons fan before I get into some of the predictions. I thought I'd talk about a little fun facts. So Matt Groening actually wanted to create, he's the creator of The Simpsons. He wanted to create a cartoon about a dysfunctional family, and he actually named modeled it after his own family. The Simpsons lucky that, his family's name is Simpson. No, no, he modeled the family after his own fucking fucking really Dysfunctional. I don't know about dysfunctional families. I'm kidding. I'm definitely do. So he actually just changed his own name to Bart and The Simpsons, the name like you're saying was actually chosen because groaning thought that it was hilarious, that it sounded like the simpletons.

If you're a Simpsons family, you know, that Homer works, the nuclear power plant. And one of the animals, you see affected by the nuclear waste is, is a fish because there Were nuclear materials, discarded and like Rivers.

It was a dog, and then when you said fish, oh my oh no, I do remember the fish fish? Yes, yes. So it was so okay, the fish. Do you remember what was actually different about the fish itself? Like it was that his eyes? Yes. It had three eyes. Yes, that's right. Yes. Like three eyes right next to each other. So I'm actually going to show an image. Let's see, this is actually, so what? Yeah, so if you're not, if you're tuning in, I have a side-by-side picture of a, the actual Simpsons episode image, which is the 3. And then dried Fish Red Fish and then there's an actual Rollin right next to it.

Now, in 2011, Flash Forward. We have a fish caught in Argentina that has three eyes, and yeah, it was caught in close proximity to an actual fucking power plant. Please. Right. So I mean, who would have known?

Okay, well let's get on to the next one that this one actually might really get you like this is fucking bizarre. Okay.

10:52 So the 19th edition of Treehouse of Horror, did you ever watch? These are actually my favorite episodes. The I'm not, I love Simpsons, but I'm not like that. Like, like 80s movies like I could recite everything and right. But like Simpson like episodes. Yeah, I'm not that good at it. Okay, so the Treehouse of Horror episodes come every October. So it's for like the Halloween season. Oh yeah. Okay, so so those are my favorite because it's typically multiple short story lines and they go into the cookie and the Absurd just like we are in right now. So here's from from one of those episodes, it was in the first segment of Treehouse of Horror. It's was 31 because that's how long it's fucking been going on this show, Homer dreams about voting in the The u.s. election but he never actually votes then it cuts to him on an augury inauguration day January 20th, 2021 and it's pretty chaotic The Simpsons.

So it's called Bart's the future and they. So this is one thing that everyone had talked about. Lisa.

So like that one really blew my fucking mind. I'm like, okay, I don't, I don't know, there's something to that. Yeah, I mean, who would have even guessed? I mean, could you even thought of that? The fact that it's pure comedy that we lived for four fucking years.

Yeah, Las Vegas act, so there. I think they are german-born. They were life Partners to, but they did Magic and famously kept tigers and animals and and Las Vegas. Unfortunately, one of Got mold right by one but yeah, the very, very popular show.

Was like, it was their shtick was like they had like these exotic animals that worked alongside them and so they make like tigers disappear, or like a bear. I don't know something. Sure. Come out of a hat. Exactly. So, so they actually predicted the tiger attack. Oh my God. So in season 5 episode 10, it was called dollar sign Springfield or how I learned to stop worrying and love legalized gambling.

They yeah, they probably couldn't Not right, they couldn't necessarily yeah but they were in the show they were turned on by one of their white tigers in the show and like you see like them getting mauled in the thing. Well let's fast-forward to 2003 and that 10 years prior prediction came. True live on stage for Siegfried and Roy and they got yeah, one of them got mauled. Yes. Unfortunately, Some there's that's like a pretty random one. Okay.

So Lisa Lisa actually goes. It goes to the Renaissance Festival. That's the storyline of it. Goes to the Renaissance Festival. She goes and visits a fortune teller. And what does Lisa not Believin fucking the Mystic bullshit? She's like a science. Yeah, she's a science girl. So she is transported when she meets with this fortune teller.

So the prediction of like of Smartwatch came true a full 19 years later where voice recognition enabled SmartWatches became actually available. The man was actually Lisa's fiance in that same. Episode they call like the software Newton. Mmm, apple apple and she's talking to like his family. So he's English and she's talking to his family and he's talking to his family through a screen there FaceTiming. That's what they're doing.

So, in episode 23, our season 23 episode 22, Lisa goes Gaga, as the episode named where this was predicted, where she comes out of the top of The fucking stadium and goes down, like Gaga goes down. Similar fucking outfit too.

Yeah she was a thing. I was so intense they called it like 2009 is it goes Gaga. They were may need to do that because of Lady Gaga. Yep, it was Lady Gaga was actually in the episode I see gun or like they used to okay.

This was six years prior to the NSA spying on the American public was even brought to our knowledge from Edward Snowden. So how did they actually find Marge? They overheard her voice like they knew where she actually was.

You know, and more way more, these are people who are ivy-league-educated like incredibly educated folks, whether they're not ivy league educated but they just fucking amassed. Um, you know, each episode has more than one storyline, right? So you have the main or the a storyline and Abby and sometimes a see ya story subplot. Yeah.

I mean, there's thousands of episodes right. There are thousands of episodes. Thousands of episodes we have through over like almost three and a half Decades of a show. But um, you know, a show that ultimately shines a light on dysfunction in our culture would have a couple of items that would actually occur eventually her. And okay, come on. Like we said fucking magicians who use big cats?

And if you are if you are listening psychic tickets that were smarter. Yeah the future predictor that Simpsons writer. Yeah do not.
